Eco Heat Pumps

Heat pumps offer an alternative method to heating your house. They take heat from the ground or the surrounding air and convert it to a higher grade of heat through a compressor.

Heat pumps are designed to use around 30% of the energy used in conventional boilers. They work very well in combination with solar hot water heating and underfloor heating.

Ground source heatpumps take heat from the surrounding earth. A pipe several hundred metres long is buried either in a coil or vertically. This system works well if combined with a new build or remedial landscaping.

Air source heat pumps are becoming increasingly popular as they are much cheaper and easier to install and can be used to simply replace your existing boiler.

We will be happy to discuss the integration of a heat pump system into your property.
